Editorial Standards

Our editorial process is designed to make the origin, strength, limitations, and commercial context of a claim easy to inspect.

01

Topic selection

We prioritize foundational questions, areas prone to confusion, and subjects where a concise evidence map can improve understanding.

02

Sources and review

Primary research, official regulatory materials, and high-quality reference works are preferred. Secondary sources may provide context but should not silently replace the original evidence.

Articles identify audience or species, evidence level, review date, and sources. Clinical or veterinary review roles will be named when formal review has occurred.

03

Conflicting evidence

We describe material differences in population, dose, design, endpoints, and duration before collapsing findings into a single conclusion. Mixed evidence is labeled as mixed.

04

Corrections and updates

Substantive updates change the reviewed date. Material errors will be corrected promptly, with a visible correction note when the prior wording could have changed interpretation.

05

Commercial independence

Affiliate relationships and sponsorships are disclosed. They do not determine topic selection, evidence labels, or conclusions.

06

Use of AI

Peppy Pony may use software-assisted tools during research organization or drafting. Published work remains subject to human editorial responsibility, source verification, and correction standards. This policy will evolve transparently as workflows mature.
